Clarissa Levi is Art & Heritage Counsel at law firm Wedlake Bell. She advises museums, heritage organisations, charities and cultural institutions across the UK. Her practice focuses on the stewardship of collections and heritage assets, helping organisations navigate governance, philanthropy and fundraising, sustainability, and the legal frameworks that support public engagement with culture and heritage.
Before joining Wedlake Bell, Clarissa spent more than a decade at Sotheby's where she was a Senior Director, later serving as Heritage Director at BHL Art Group. Her work has given her a practical understanding of how collections can be preserved, interpreted and shared for public benefit, experience that is highly relevant to the opportunities and responsibilities facing the UK's science and discovery centres as they care for collections, engage audiences and ensure long-term organisational sustainability.
