Sarah Cosgriff (she/they) is an award-winning freelance science communicator and public engagement trainer with a background in working with young people, schools and communities. They are particularly passionate about LGBTQ+ inclusion in science engagement, and do this through raising the visibility of queer scientists in science shows and school resources, and engaging LGBTQ+ youth with science through the 'STEM for Queer Youth' programme and hands-on activities in local queer spaces.
Sarah previously had roles at the Institute of Physics, Association for Science Education and Schools OUT working on equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives. Earlier this year, they received a Pride in STEM Decadal Award, in recognition of their LGBTQ+ advocacy work.
